I saw a picture posted on their Facebook of a transformation from Dark Brown to Silver hair. I have dyed black hair and wanted to change it. I booked in for an appointment and a consult first. When I arrived at the consult, they said that the person I was booked in with had had to leave and I would have someone else. I discussed what I wanted with her and then she totalled up what this would cost (£190) without telling me what I was really paying for on the price list. The receptionists did afterwards but I found this amount far too much. We brought it down to £120-£150 and discussed what I wanted doing (going from black to caramel) and they assured me this was possible. They did a strand test. Although I told them in advance on the phone I had black hair and this would be a long job, they booked my appointment for far too short and said if I still wanted it, I would have to be in the salon at 8:30. This felt like an oversight, but I let it go.
The next day (the day before my appointment) they rang me and said there was a problem, and the person who was meant to be doing my hair wasn't available. They called back rearranging with someone else. Then later on they said the strand test had had absolutely no effect and the best they could do with my hair was make it a shade lighter. I feel really devastated by this because I've wanted to change from black for the last 2 years and only just worked up the courage to do so. Unfortunately, I now feel like this is never going to be possible.
