If you are planning to go to academy claugate don’t hesitate I am for Sinead, she is very nice , kind and overall a great hairdresser. She took kilos and years from my head!!!

I had a great experience start to finish. Molly transformed my hair with a full set of highlights. 10/10 customer service and results.

After not being happy with my recent haircut I visited Academy in Claygate and spoke to Christine about what I wanted. Christine listened carefully and assured me she will do her best to achieve that. To my surprise Christine transformed my hair from being fine, limp and lifeless to bouncy hair with body and fullness. I have not had my hair feel like this since my 30s, I am in my 50s. To my amazement my hair still looks great with more body and fullness 3 days after my cut & blowdry. Christine is a real gem, she is one of the more expensive hairdressers but definitely worth every penny!!!

My first visit with Sinead. I was very pleased the way she blow dried my hair. A very nice friendly girl.

Lovely haircut and blow dry. Molly was very friendly and took the time to understand what I wanted. She kept checking I was happy through the process. Also discussed the next appointment and gave some good advice.

Ive got very long, thick hair and have always wanted a ‘blowout’ but at every other salon I’ve been talked into just having my hair curled with straighteners (I assume because it’s easier and takes less time). Sinead asked what I wanted at the start of my appointment and having explained previous disappointments she spent 15 minutes with me figuring out the best options. We went with rollers and brush blow dry (definitely not the easy or quick option) and the results were fantastic. Exactly what I’d hoped for every other time. And for someone who doesn’t get their hair done very often… I’ve returned 3 times in as many weeks. Would thoroughly recommend Sinead!

Lindsey and the team are always so welcoming and professional. I had an fusio treatment, and a lovely head massage from Molly.

Molly really listened and took care to cut and finish my hair just how I wanted it. We re-evaluated my original requests part way through and agreed to adapt it to how it was looking. She is caring and considerate and I will definitely come back.

What a lovely salon. Team was friendly from the moment I walked in. Rachel managed to cut and style my hair in between clients. I was advised on the treatments I could use at the salon and I can’t wait to come back for the colouring session. Thank you for fitting me in.

Lindsay listened to me and produced the hairstyle I was after and I left happy. She was not only very professional but also kind and friendly. Also Emily gave me an excellent head massage during my hair treatment.
