I was with Sophie for a half head of highlights and a fitting of tape extensions (27 sandwiches).

I expressed that I wanted to be super blonde to the root in quite a confusing way haha, but Sophie was easily able to understand what I meant which was brightening around the face.

For a full head of 20 sandwiches, it took Sophie about half an hour to put them in, which is really quick! The placement was also great, as she considered my parting and the way my hair falls to ensure it was discrete, and to make sure it blended with my natural hair.

I was incredibly ecstatic with the result, I left at around 4pm as after 20 sandwiches were put in, we decided to put in the rest. It looks absolutely beautiful, and as always I am so blown away by the professional treatment from this fabulous salon.

If you just want that extra bit of fullness to your hair, or you love the long hair like me, I would wholeheartedly recommend Academy Salons in Esher.

In the current climate, Academy are getting so many things right, but especially with the state of the economy, they are still really affordable which means I can still get my hair done regularly and feel confident and refreshed!

Just moved home and changed my hairdresser after 20 years! Was so nervous I needn’t have been! Emma is an absolute delight, full head of foils, she made me feel at ease, discussed the colours I wanted, the whole experience was fabulous. Emma always cuts the children's hair really nicely. She listens to what you would like done, always checks in to see if you are happy and makes good recommendations. Emma is always happy and great with the children. They love having their hair look smart and always sit nicely for her. Thank you!

My experience was lovely from start to finish. I was nervous as it was my first time at a new salon, however Emma made me feel comfortable from the second I walked in. Emma was very thorough with my consultation asked lots of questions about my hair history, lifestyle, likes and dislikes. Emma was very transparent with what she could achieve in my first session. Emma talked me through the condition of my hair and what products and techniques would help with my hair health and maintenance. I went in thinking I wouldn’t be able to achieve anywhere near what I wanted as my hair was in quite a state, yet my hair looks and feels amazing and I am extremely pleased with the end the result. I will be returning for my next highlighting session in 12 weeks and would highly recommend the salon!!!

Really relaxing hair conditioning treatment and blow dry experience yesterday with Sarah - My hair feels amazing and the best blow dry I have had in a very long time.

Sarah was phenomenal. She delivered the results I was looking for, they’re all such friendly staff, very hospitable and ensure you’re looked after. Will be back again.

Emma was amazing as usual! I’ve had 3 visits to the salon she is always so welcoming and works miricales on my hair! So glad I found this salon it will be my go to from now on!

As always all the girls were absolutely lovely. I always recommend this salon to everyone I know, my manager, my sister, my niece, my boyfriend ? everyone !! Because they are the best. Sophie as always was absolutely perfect, and she went over in detail the colour formula which she would create for me. She gave me the option about what I, the customer, would want, which I think is incredibly important for customer. She explained to me exactly how she would dye my hair, and asked re each step to make sure I was completely happy with every single one which I was. I was checked on often to make sure I had enough tea or if I needed any magazines. All the girls are so friendly that I feel I can talk to them freely about anything which is so important about a hairdressers. I am honestly so happy with the constant five star stellar performance from this salon. At the end of the treatment, when my hair was rinsed and blow dried perfectly, I was so happy I could’ve cried! My hair was the best it has EVER looked. Thank you Sophie so much, you are magic!!! It was the perfect strawberry blonde I was after!! Thank you so much!!!

Emma is always so welcoming and professional. I enjoy my visits and I’m happy with the care and advice I receive.

Sophie was amazing once again. Took out all my nano rings gave me a great cut and washed and blow dried my hair. Always reassuring to have a great stylist you can go to and talk to honestly about your hair and what you need!

It’s always a pleasure visiting Academy in Esher. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and Emma is skilled and knowledgable offering advice to improve any request. 10/10

Always the loveliest experience & the treatment on my hair had made it feel amazing!

Another wonderful blow dry by Sophie and left the salon feeling a million dollars and totally relaxed after a lovely hair wash and conditioner massage. With the expertise in the shampoo and conditioner, my head is looking a lot less flaky and itchy as well as a lovely shine. All the staff are lovely and happy. One of the best salons I’ve ever been to.

Emma has been doing my hair for a while now, she has helped me grow it and get it back to a healthy condition. She is always friendly, warm and professional. Highly recommend!

All the girls were lovely as always, I had the most fabulous (as usual) blowdry with Sophie. Thank you so much for everyone at the salon for making my niece feel comfortable and pampered after her very first blowout! She’s got her prom coming up this year and is very eager to learn more about “girly stuff” ha ha ! She is very shy and socially anxious, especially in situations with “girly stuff” so was expecting her to not talk at all but to my surprise she did! And she loved her blowdry. Thank you so much. Katie has done a brilliant job with my hair. Which originally looked like I had been dragged through a bush backwards. She listened to what I was after, and was friendly throughout my time at at salon.

Chlo did a fantastic job of blending my roots and tidying up my hair which I am trying to growing long. Gorgeous blow dry with a curl. Very happy!
