This was the first time I had been to Toni and guy and my experience was truly disappointing. I wanted to have my brown hair bleached to a natural blonde with some shadow roots coming through. Following a consultation with a very friendly hair stylist I was left to believe that my request was absolutely doable. She went through the way she would go about it we looked at pictures and had an in depth conversation and it all sounded as if she totally understood what I wanted and I left feeling reassured that day. The person doing my hair however was different which did not make a bunch of sense to me but I tried my best to explain what was agreed on. I was told that what I wanted would look weird and I thought that maybe the stylist really knew what they were doing and I swallowed my wishes and a lot of what the consultation had left me hoping for and quietly agreed. Four hours later I was left with yellow hair and three inches of my natural brown roots being abruptly cut off by really jarring bright yellow blonde with patches through the sharp border. After my hair was blow dried I was on the verge of tears. When the hair stylist asked me how I felt about it I said that this was neither was I had hoped for not better as she promised. She then advised me to book another appointment and said she would not lighten any of the dark roots but instead she would dye my blonde hair darker which also didn’t make sense to me and neither was it the look I had asked for. I reluctantly booked the appointment for the following week however I have been left worried about it. I have managed to tone down the yellow with purple shampoos and masks however I am quite anxious about what my next appointment has in store for me as I have lost a lot of my faith in the brand and depending on the outcome next time I might not go back again. I am gutted my experience and results were so different to most people’s here as the state of my hair has left me extremely disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed of my new hairstyle.
