My experience was last year... but I have sadly been reminded of it because a friend of mine is having treatment and wanted a wig...
we went to the shop together last year, the staff were all busy so we just browsed the wigs, tried to ask a few questions ... only when I left the shop in tears did Julia follow us out and insist I pop back and make an appointment. I have alopecia and was losing my hair fast, so I felt incredibly vulnerable and anxious. I made the appointment and it was ok, in honesty I felt rushed, we only tried a couple of wigs. Long story short, I bought a £520 wig, 3 wig liners that were so uncomfortable at the back where the elastic was, a wig head clamp ( that never stayed stuck ) shampoo conditioner and a brush.. all in all I spent £670.
Julia said she would cut it into a nice shape for me when it arrived, I thought it was included in the price, but that was another £60 roughly! I wore my wig once.
My friend has ordered a beautiful wig for £70 from the hospital...
The moral is you don’t need to spend a fortune because it might not be the right thing for you.

I am sorry to hear you were so unhappy with your experience. I do remember that day. I asked my client if I could excuse myself when I came out to make sure you were okay. I wish that you would have mentioned sooner rather than one year later. It is most important to me and my team that all our clients are cared for and happy. Your wig that you purchased was one of our top of range mixture of synthetic and human hair “Adore” which had a lace front with hand tied monofilament parting. Your friend to pay £70 there would have been subsidies through the hospital. The wig costing £70 would have been machine wefting and machine made top.
