I’ve been having my haircut by Tom for a few years now and cannot recommend him and Mova in Virginia Water more highly. I’m honestly always happy with the results and look forward to going there because I know I’ll be looked after and can relax and enjoy the whole experience.

M?, you’ve MOved counties from Staffordshire back to Berkshire/Surrey you go to MOva of course. Ellie is excellent. I love Annabel or Erin washing, and head massaging, my hair and Sam is the MOst aMOzing front of house. I love my MOva Virginia Water Salon. I arrived 10 mins late for my appointment with Gina very stressed having had a horrendous journey of 25 miles on the M25, in dreadful weather and an accident ahead of a notice of an accident on the overhead gantry.
Within minutes, the atmosphere of calm and reassurance, In terms of safety re Covid measures and understanding of the weather conditions brought my blood pressure down.
All personnel are working very hard under difficult circumstances..
You would never know anything was different to those wonderful pre pandemic times.

The salon times have been extended so that all staff (who work in separate ‘bubbles’), work longer days without compromising the ability of their clients to book appointments of their choice and stylist/colourist , and /or sacrificing safe practice.

As for the skill in sorting out some very unruly locks and correcting colour and cut, I’m very happy with the new me, despite the weather trying to undo all the skill!.
PS it didn’t win.
Re the question ‘Atmosphere’, the only reason I have rated a 2 to 3, is that the background music on my visit today was mostly rap or any other that I truly did not understand, or enjoy.
What I want is a really lovely and therapeutic experience, this was not mine today..

I don’t suggest the Salon plays opera or classical music, all of which I enjoy, but for the clientele that I imagine need!, which is probably easy listening, and tansformation In a calm and recuperative environment it would be very welcome.
PS I suggest you mix it up and look at the demographic of your clients, even do a survey?.

Excellent hairdresser! Hannah takes time to understand what you are looking for and delivers. A very pleasant experience in current times and I would highly recommend her and Mova. An additional shout out to Annabel who assisted and provides a great head massage and wash.

I always have an amazing experience at Mova of Virginia Water. The team are so welcoming, friendly and attentive. I feel safe in their hands during The Covid pandemic and the salon is still warm & inviting. Tom is just fabulous and I always feel a million dollars when I leave the salon with my lovely bouncy shiny hair ? Tom is just a great stylist who feels more like a friend as we always have a good chat & a giggle despite the fact I am probably older than his dear Mum. Thank you all, you are doing an amazing job and so organised despite the current challenges and restrictions Covid is placing on us all ?

Had a great experience @ Mova today. Amber is so nice & very passionate for what she does. Sterling job, very light-handed. Very happy with the result, will recommend Amber as a hair-stylist.
The girl that washed my hair was very sweet & kind (did not ask for her name). Also the girl explaining the prices & booking appointments was very kind.

I spent 3 hours in the salon today for a colour and a cut and I felt very safe with all the precautions in place. The team as always are professional, personable and make sure I am comfortable and happy with the end results! What can I say, other than I keep coming back!

Very happy with my haircut today, Ellie did exactly what I asked for and I’ve left the salon with very soft, perfectly cut hair.

I am really pleased with my hair after Ellie blow dried it. She listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and did an excellent job. I will be returning to have my hair coloured too.

Having had a mix up with booking, Tom managed to squeeze me in for a colour with Ellie. Great talent, excellent service.. as they all are! Usually have Hannah as my colourist but choose any stylist and you can’t go wrong!

My first time using the salon and I was very nervous about getting my colour done. Ellie put me at ease and spoke through the different hair colours and what would work best for my hair. The salon has a great atmosphere that I felt relaxed having my hair done and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I was so happy with my hair that Ellie done. With the current situation the salon felt safe to be in and all staff were following the guidelines. Definitely will be coming back.
