Very happy with hair. Becky was lovely and took the time to talk through what she thought would be best for me. The Velvet Room itself is very welcoming and busy, which is nice (its horrible when you go to a salon and you are the only client! ) -delicious cappuccino brought on a china tray. The whole experience was very good and I will definitely be returning in about 6 weeks.
Visited here for the first time yesterday. A little difficult to find but when I did it is a lovely location and the salon feels very luxurious. I had a massage and a facial. It was very relaxing and I felt much better when I left than I did when I arrived. My only disappointment was that there is not an appointment until May!

Excellent service. Faith was great and we had a chat prior to see what I wanted and the colour turned out just how I would have liked it. I have used this salon quite a few times now ... booked through treatwell. My only comment to improve would be that I wished this salon did special offers

I have a full head of highlights every 8-9 weeks, I have Leanne full attention every time. I have a consultation at the start of every appointment to see if I'm happy with the previous colour or if I would like to tweak or change anything! I love coming to this salon!!
Lovely experience as always at Velvet Rooms yesterday. Colour transformation from blonde back to brunette, followed by a hair up by Leanne. Very impressed with how simple the hair up appeared to be and how beautiful it came out! The salon was very busy with a lovely atmosphere with attentive staff providing you with magazines and drinks whilst you were waiting for your colour to take.
Just home from having my hair cut and coloured by Emma and as usual, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The staff are all friendly and attentive and the atmosphere in the salon is great, you can tell that the girls all get on well.
I was very pleased with my hair as usual and although it would be much easier for me to find a salon nearer to my home, I have no intention of doing so, as I love my visits to Velvet Rooms and can't recommend them highly enough.

Rang up this afternoon to see if salon could squeeze me in this eve or tomorrow pm. Faith was able to fit me in after a big last minute cancellation & she's fab! She's never cut my hair before but suggested a lovely new shorter, sleeker midi style instead of my old very long, heavy-looking layered style. The colour's fab & she listened exactly to what i needed in terms of an easy maintence style that i can tie up when needed but it still looks great & flattering when down. Thank you so much, i'll def be back!

I booked my appointment quite last minute through the £20 stand by scheme, where you phone them up on the day and they give you whatever appointment is free and with whichever stylist is available. Faith ended up being that stylist and she was lovely, treating me like a VIP. I ended up getting my colour done too and I am SO happy with the result. Thank you for making me look and feel wonderful! I shall be back!xxxx
Velvet Rooms for hair is by far the best Salon in the Area! I have very very short hair and I went from one Salon to another in Woking and Chobham and noone seemed to get it just the way I wanted it until I found Leanne and her Team. It is a very welcoming little Salon with an extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and make you feel relaxed. My hairdresser is Leanne, the owner, who I cannot fault and recommend to anyone I meet. Let me 5ell you I had quite a few comments on how awesome my hair looks and even once had a random passing lady take a picture of it!!! (Just the hair..not me ;-)) I love the cozy yet sophisticated design of the Salon. The prices are very competitive and all the girls in the Salon just look the part...trendy hair...awesome colours and styles...They also are very engaged with the local businesses and community unlike any other Salon i know....i.e. fresh flowers from the Chobham Flower shop on each dresser...please go and visit
I can't recommend Emma at the velvet rooms enough. She really knows her stuff about hair colour!

I was recommended this salon by a friend who praised the stylist's and their hair skills. I went in looking for a change in hair colour after being inspired by an Instagram post of autumnal colours of coppers and chestnut brown's, and a good cut after my last salon left my hair feeling heavy. My stylist was lovely and very knowledgable about colour techniques and spent time making suggestions after I told her what I was hoping to achieve. After three plus hours in the chair, I have to say I was slightly disappointed. My hair is now a chocolate brown with only a hint of the copper and blonde highlights as promised, but the cut and condition of my hair is fabulous so I will return.
Fab service once again from Velvet Rooms - always leave feeling like a princess thanks to Beccy!
