Regis Hair Salon - Gateshead

I visited the salon on Tuesday to discuss getting a Joelinton Blonde Dye. Had the patch test done within 5 minutes and was booked in on Thursday morning (Today). Julie B was great! Highly recommended!! Family love it!! Already booked follow up appointment.

Happy with my hair color, hair cut and Keratin hair treatment. My frizzy Asian dark hair has smoothened out a lot. Hair wash after this treatment has reduced my hair straightening time duration. Looking forward to see if treatment lasts for months atleast. Expected hair wash lady(I think she is called Daniel) to scrub my scalp properly as hair color deposit was left behind even after 3washes!

Caroline is amazing. Always gets my cut and colour exactly how I want it. Nothing is ever a hassle for her.

Overcharged for a child's haircut. £41 for a little boy, no wash and no product. When I queried this, I was told it was correct, despite a man's cut being advertised as less. I was told noone in salon was trained to give a refund and to call to speak to the manager.

I got a fabulous haircut. Exactly what I wanted. Plus lots of hints and tips to keep my hair looking good.

I asked for a few highlight and a root colour plus a trim. I was not shown a colour chart of options so the result was much lighter than I wanted. I asked for a slight trim and left with 2.5 inches off the length of my hair which has upset me greatly. My usual hairdresser does what I ask for a third of the price and I request a refund

This was my first appointment with Evelyn and she immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Discussed colour options and styling. Was very impressed with the end result and will definitely return.

Julie is quite amazing, she has this unbelievable knowledge that as soon as you start explaining, she just knows….. and she delivers. Only a true caring professional can expedite what she did with my hair today.

Evelyn is a top hairdresser, and she always makes the visit a very enjoyable one!
General reception though is very slow, I was left standing for quite a while even though other staff at the back of the salon had seen me. This is not the first time I’ve noticed this. Not Evelyn’s fault!

Donna has been doing my hair for years now and I couldn’t be happier with the service and treatment I receive from her. Not only is she a great hairdresser but she is also very friendly and easy to get along with. I always enjoy my visit to the salon.

The worst hairdresser experience ever! I have traveled extensively and have had my hair done all over the world. I needed a quick hair trim and blow dry for my holiday but I wish I had it done at my holiday destination. The hairdresser was with an attitude who didn’t seem to want to be there, she was pulling my hair when washing them and all her enthusiasm and fake smile was only when she tried selling something (hair treatment which she said is £13 but then at the checkout it was £15). Not only that but when I was done with my hair, I went to the checkout to pay for that treatment I was sold. I already paid for the haircut and blow dry via Treatwell and told her so, but she just aggressively kept saying that her price is xyz! She would not listen at all until her senior came to assist! You should not be advertising anything on Treatwell or anywhere if your staff are not trained to process these at the checkout! My time was wasted waiting for you to sort out how to operate your till! If I knew I would never come!!! Overall very unpleasant experience - not just a hairdresser but a human experience! Will never ever come back and will RECOMMEND DON’T GO THERE!!!

I went to Regis today with a real challenge for the salon regarding my damaged hair and left the salon with re-coloured, fabulously conditioned hair. Cannot thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness.
