About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. I don’t like going to the hairdressers but Sam made the whole experience relaxing. She took the time to make sure she really knew what I wanted and then nailed it. My hair feels so much better and I don’t feel as frumpy any more. I would definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Sorry - but did a pretty poor job. Straight forward ‘tidy up cut’ and just had large chunks lobbed off on sides and quick cut on top. Bit awkward generally. Will go back to the person who did it last time next time (who was unavailable this time).

Like the last 7000 reviews, Libby is the only reason I come to Toni & Guy. She knows exactly what she’s doing, always puts a smile on my face and does a transformation better than what Princess Mia got. (Don’t know what I’m talking about? Look it up). 11/10.

I’ve been having my colour done with Matthew for a few years now and I wouldn’t go to anyone else! I always have a fabulous experience at TONI & GUY Newcastle especially from the receptionists and assistants!

Matthew always gets my colour amazing and delivers a fantastic service throughout, Rhys washed my hair and it was so relaxing! He is very accommodating and a lovely young man!

The salon is always spotless and always has an amazing atmosphere!

I have previously been to Libby for a blow-dry, she is very thorough and asks the client exactly what they want/how they have their hair.
On both occasions I've left the salon very happy and the blow-dry usually lasts me a few days.
Excellent service and lovely stylist, the salon is also very warm and welcoming, you feel relaxed the whole time you're there.

Having my highlights and colour done is not, I’ll be honest, my favourite thing, but this colourist makes it a great experience. She is so talented and I appreciate her ability to make my hair the best it can be by adjusting the colour. Her ideas always work out well. Very pleased with the result.
