Went to the Essentials Toni and Guy salon at the Mailbox for highlights. Had a fantastic morning with Serena. A bit pricey but that’s the only negative. So relaxing and really happy with the result! Highly recommend!

I was extremely happy with the service I received from Qudsia. She has treated my hair for quite some time and she always delivers fantastic results, which is one of the reasons why I love using Toni & Guy.
She is always professional, very friendly and accommodating, gives great expert advice and the level of service hasn’t changed in any way even with social distance measures.
She is a true asset to your team and is very passionate about colour styling. No doubt that I will be using her services again.

I had a half head of highlights done by Yasmin and I love it, she did an amazing job and I am so happy with it, Received so many compliments on it. Yasmin is amazing as always, lovely to chat with and works very thoroughly. Very clean space. Great music too by the way!! Can’t wait to come back to get the rest of my hair done!

I went in for roots, toner and hair treatment mask. Paid over £114.00 that’s with other discounts applied, which isn’t a problem if results are perfect! Wanted brown but got black, still I thought pointless to say anything now as it’s done. Left with colour around all my front hairline and not told. Noticed at home once hair all pushed back. I felt very upset as seems like a home job. Called up T&G to explain situation, told to use nail polish remover. Still has not removed all colour and left my skin dry and itchy where I used the nail polish remover. Offered by branch free hair treatment for inconvenience for next time. I’m not happy with overall service. I except to get what I asked for when I’m paying good money for the service. I don’t enjoy to wasting my money. Just listen to what the customer wants if you can’t do it, say so.

My experience was fantastic! Serena is always really welcoming and insightful. I’m absolutely over the moon with my colour and finish, I will recommend to everyone!

i thought the salon had a positivity energy, combined with accommodating staff members.
moreover tasked with covid regulations the salon felt very safe and clean. from my time in the salon everybody, including customers adhered to government regulations. Not only that the staff still maintained a positive and professional attitude throughout.
in short; a pleasant, welcoming, and all round lovely experience.

Hadn’t been for a haircut since before the pandemic, it was quite nice being the only one in the salon! I am always made to feel welcome and my hair is always done to an excellent standard, definitely worth the money.

I was feeling down and after waiting far too long I visited Essensuals in the mailbox and had my hair done by the very impressive Serena

After a nice chat, my hair was looking very awesome once again, I’ve had loads of people praising Serenas’ work and I’m very happy once again

In fact I can’t wait to visit again!

Ella was / is really professional she cuts my hair to my exacting standards doesn’t hack at my hair like some hairdressers tend to do and she gives the most incredible head massage.

Amy made the experience of returning to a salon easy and enjoyable.
She understood what I was looking to acheive and coped admirably with the unruly mop that had grown throughout lockdown.
Very pleased and I have rebooked.

My other half and I went in for a haircut with the Art Directors and really enjoyed the whole experience. Very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. They were extremely skilled and talented with over 12 years experience each. The cut and blow dry was done with perfection and made to look so effortless. Top job and extremely satisfied with both our haircuts. We left with products recommended by the Staff. Would return again.

Not being able to have a salon experience for a while, I have realised how much we need Salons. Being able to have mu hair massaged and my back at the same time was immense. Salon was so clean and i admire all the staff wearing their PPE in these difficult times. Keep up the hard work guys, you are all doing amazingly

I had my hair re coloured so it was bleached and recoloured again

I wanted to have a combination of lavander and rose gold but the hairstylist gave me the option of having the pink first and see if we can add the lavander. So we ended up just having light pink close to blonde and gray from the roots as she suggested that is a good combination also.

The re coloring was a success but the next day my scalp is so itchy and dirty. So i shampoo it but to find out that my hair was not washed thoroughly as i saw my hair color going off...

As always a great cut from Kate and she’s such a lovely person too. A real treat to see her again after lockdown. Amy was also friendly and helpful. Covid protection measures excellent. I felt very safe.

I had a fantastic experience! It’s been many years since I’ve been to a hairdresser but Serena made me feel super comfortable. She asked me what I wanted, how short etc and talked me through each step of the way. She told me about all the products she was using and what they did. My hair looks and feels fantastic and I’ve booked back in for my colour to be done!

I had a fantastic experience I was looked after well by the salon staff and my stylist Ella was friendly and gave me a great haircut. It was very safe and the salon staff cleaned down between cuts. I would recommend this salon to anyone.
