First time having my hair done at Roland John & the whole experience from start to finish was just wonderful! Best experience I've genuinely ever had at a hair salon in my life - Hannah is so lovely, really warm and chatty. Done my hair exactly as asked and really talked me through what she felt was right for my hair with regards to colours/toner etc. Drinks menu provided (never had that before, it's normally do you want a tea or coffee and that's it - in other salons but not at Roland John, your offered everything you could possibly think of to meet your thirst requirements ?). Complimentary hand massage whilst your colour is on. Just generally such a clean salon and welcoming bunch of staff, everyone I came across was lovely and accomodating. Wouldn't go anywhere else now I've been here!

Everything you want in a hair salon. Staff are prompt, attentive, pleasant and professional. You are always offered something to drink which is such a pleasant touch,, making you feel pampered!

Firstly the young man that washed my hair and offered a massage was lovely friendly and polite he also offered me a drink.
Faye was amazing, very pleased with the trim and the way she styled my hair. She was very friendly and professional.

Having not had my hair cut for 7 years due to anxiety and laziness, it took a lot for me to even make the appointment. Libby was calming, funny, understanding and a lovely person. I won’t hesitate to come back again.
I love my hair now and the experience wasn’t at all the traumatic rollercoaster I’d imagined! Thank you.

Great, quality haircut, Olivia listened to what my son was after and produced a really good result! He is hard to please, and will usually pick fault- this is the first time he has had nothing to moan about post-cut.

Lovely salon, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Well supervised by Ronnie who has a nice manner of dealing with the staff and clients, and I am very happy with my haircut.

This is my first time coming to roland john but i couldnt reccomend it enough, especially faye!! She was absolutely amazing at doing my hair and she was so lovely too, it made the whole experience great! I will 100% be going back!

I was welcomed and offered refreshments and given a compliment head and beck massage before having a a fab haircut.

My hair needs TLC and Hannah cut it really well with super layering into the shape I like. Result.

I was recommended by a friend to try this salon, I really wasn't disappointed in any way. The stylist was lovely, chatty and friendly, initially she talked to me about my hair type and what I wanted, I am very pleased with the result.
I was offered a detail drinks menu to choose from, you don't get such a varied choice in a small bar, I picked a refreshing cucumber and mint drink that was delicious.
I will definitely visit here again and would choose Faye to do my hair. A great experience. Thank you, Sandy

Revisited Roland John after a space of several years as I wanted my short hair styled by an experienced stylist as I have struggled to find someone who could get it just right! Really pleased with it now and it is easier for me to style at home. Thank you.

I had a half head of bleach and a shorter cut the colour and cut was lovely i also had a lovely hand massage and felt really pampered i recieved some great advice on what proucts i should buy always look forward to my visits

Wonderfully pampered and made to feel special ?

I went into Roland’s and met Libby, I hadn’t been to a salon for around 8years and was very nervous. Libby made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She picked the colour for me and told me how what she thought would be best for my hair style. I left her to do what she thought best and I do not regret a moment, the colour is stunning and the cut is beautiful. I have had several comments about how amazing my hair looks! Thank you Libby and all the staff at Roland’s I look forward to coming back :)

I thought I was being a guinea pig for a trainee stylist, but I was actually a model for a master class; with Roland actually styling my hair, with the trainees looking on.

So... my locks were in a bit of a mess, and hour later; I walked out feeling wonderful with my new style!

I came out of the salon with the best haircut I have ever had. I waited to leave a review because the test is how it looks after a wash. My hair looks fabulous and I am delighted. In addition to the fab cut, I also received lots of wonderful advice to get my hair back jnto great condition. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
