I had a model hair cut and half head of foils . It was £50 and took 5 hours. Hannah supervised and taught the apprentice hairdresser (I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name).
Hannah was really clear with her instructions and her expectations of her apprentice and demonstrated what she wanted her to do. They took it in turns to place the foils and Hannah frequently gave her constructive feedback.
The apprentice was also supported by Roland (the manager) with my hair cut.
At all times she was given very direct instructions and feedback.
I’m happy with the service that I received. It took slightly longer than I had expected but I had the time to spend there and wasn’t in a rush so it wasn’t a problem. My only slight criticism is that the apprentice seemed a bit nervous and underconfident and I don’t know whether she’d have felt slightly less nervous if she had been praised a little bit more. (She was given positive feedback but on balance most of the feedback was focused on how she could improve on as that’s the nature of a teaching session).
I’m really happy with my hair cut and I love the colours chosen .
